About Me

Hello, my name is Kellie. I am a friendly, caring childminder with over 27 years of experience caring for children. I am a mum of four grown-up children and also a proud grandparent, so childcare has always been a big part of my life.
Alongside my personal experience, I have worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school and have also helped out in nursery settings. I really enjoy supporting children as they learn and grow, and I believe children learn best through play, routine, and feeling happy and secure.

I offer a warm, welcoming home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued, and confident. I am lucky to have a very large, secure garden, which allows plenty of space for outdoor play. I love going on little adventures with children, whether that's outdoor play, nature walks, or exploring the world around us, helping them build confidence and curiosity. We enjoy a variety of age-appropriate activities, including creative play, reading, outdoor play, and learning through everyday experiences, always following each child’s individual needs and interests.
I am approachable and easy to talk to and believe in building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents through open communication.
I am passionate about creating a calm, happy setting where children feel supported, have fun, and thrive.
