My name is Edie! I’m originally from Australia and have been living in Edinburgh for almost two years now. I currently work in an after school club, where I work with children from P1 to P7. Previously, I spent two years as a nanny in Australia, caring for two little ones aged 5 months and 2 years when I started.
I’ve also worked as a children’s ski instructor, swim instructor and babysitter, where I have built up lots of experience with children of different ages. I love creating a fun, safe and supportive environment for children and I enjoy finding creative ways to keep them happy and engaged.
My Experience
I have over four years of hands on childcare experience, including almost two years of sole charge care with both a 5-month-old baby and 2-year-old. I’m confident in supporting early development and creating a safe, stimulating environment for children of all ages. I have worked with a wide age range from 5 months up to 14 years old and can easily adapt to different ages and needs.
My Qualifications
I have recently renewed my First Aid certificate. I have a full drivers licence. PVG check. Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2, Allergen Awareness, Advanced Child Protection Awareness.
