About Me
My name is Sana, and I’m the owner of Honey’s Hive Childminding. I have two wonderful boys; one who’s 5 years old, and my newest little bundle who is just 6 months old.
I have always been passionate about supporting children’s growth and learning. I hold a degree in Education Studies which I completed this year and have completed a Childminding course in late 2024. Alongside this, I bring valuable experience working in a school environment, where I supported children in their learning, development, and wellbeing.
At Honey’s Hive, my goal is to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating setting where children feel safe, happy, and inspired to explore. I combine different ways of learning and set activities which encourages independence, creativity, and a love of nature.
I believe children thrive when they are given the time and space to learn through play, discover the outdoors, and follow their natural curiosity. My setting reflects this, offering a homely atmosphere with plenty of opportunities for imaginative play, sensory exploration, and hands-on learning.
My Experience
Being a mum to two boys has given me so much personal experience in understanding the ups and downs of childhood. From sleepless nights to first steps, I know how important it is to provide a loving, patient, and supportive environment where children feel secure and cared for.
Alongside my personal experience, my degree in Education Studies and work experience in a school setting, allowed me to support children with their learning and development across different ages. This gave me first-hand insight into how children grow, learn, and thrive when they are encouraged, listened to, and supported as individuals.
I have also completed a childminding course, which has given me the knowledge and confidence to provide high-quality care in a home-based setting. Combining my personal journey as a parent with my professional training and work experience means I can offer the best of both worlds; a warm, family feel, with a solid understanding of children’s developmental needs.

Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Education Studies — 2025
