My name is Arianna Cuiban and I am currently a college student in Leigh, studying Health and Social Care. I am looking for part-time babysitting opportunities during the hours when I am not attending college.
I have always enjoyed working with children and I have gained a lot of experience in different environments.
As a babysitter, I can offer not only care but also educational support. I can help children with their homework, organise creative and instructive activities, and spend quality time outdoors, for example by going on walks. I also enjoy cooking and I am able to prepare simple and healthy meals for children.
I believe that I am a responsible, patient and creative person, and I am passionate about making children feel safe, happy and supported. I also hold a DBS check, which means I have been safely vetted to work with children. Babysitting is more than just looking after children – it is about helping them grow and learn. I am confident that my experience, my motivation, and my DBS clearance make me a reliable choice for any family looking for a babysitter in the Leigh (WN7) area.
My Experience
This summer, I worked in France in a summer camp, where I supported children in creative and educational activities. It was a great opportunity for me to improve my skills, build confidence and learn how to communicate with children from different backgrounds.
In England, I have also completed work experience in several schools, where I supported children with special educational needs. I learned how to help them in class, encourage their learning, and manage challenging situations with patience and understanding.
Additionally, I had the chance to do a work placement with the NHS at Wigan Hospital, where I assisted as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant. I supported a young girl with autism to improve her communication, and I worked alongside healthcare professionals. This experience confirmed my future ambition: I want to become a Speech and Language Therapist to help children develop their language and communication skills.
