About Me
Hello, I'm Emily, I am a Registered Midwife and I live in a small village in South Northamptonshire just a 10 minute drive from Milton Keynes. I live with my husband Tom and our two wonderful children, Jessica and Albie. I have a keen interest in art and travel, both of which inspire my appreciation for people, culture and creativity.
Before training to become a Midwife, I joined Thames Valley Police shortly after leaving school and worked as a Police Community Support Officer, where I built up relationships within the community and developed a calm, empathetic approach to supporting others. I also worked in homelessness service for a number of years, helping individuals and families find safe, alternative accommodation.
Now, as a qualified Registered Midwife, I bring together my professional experience and personal values to support women and families through some of life's most transformative moments. I'm dedicated to providing respectful, informed care and creating a safe space for every person I work with
My Experience
I am a fully qualified and NMC registered Midwife with over five years of experience working in maternity services across both hospital and community settings. My practice has focused on providing compassionate, evidence based care to women and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and postnatal period.
I hold full neonatal resuscitation and first aid certification ensuring I can safely respond in an emergency situation. I'm also Baby Friendly Initiative qualified, which supports my ability to offer expert breastfeeding guidance and promote infant feeding practices that align with UNICEF standards.
