About Me
My name is Sharleen. I’m 27 and from Indonesia. I came to Cambridge in 2023 to study for my Master’s in Children’s Book Illustration, which I’ve recently finished. I write and illustrate picture books.
Children are a big inspiration for my art. I love spending time with them, teaching them to draw, playing together, and reading them children’s books! I personally think playing with imagination is such a great way to connect.
My Experience
My experience comes from being with my nephews, we used to play games all the time and I taught them some art activities. On Sundays, I volunteer with the kids team at church with children aged 2-6.
