Never heard back

She arrived late but I can understand when she explained situation with bus. She dug in with helping with my children and came to few activities with us then did few chores. always cleaned up after herself and children. Helped me with bedtime routine. Agreed to date and time again- but she never answered her phone or replied to any of her messages. I was left in limbo trying to figure out weather to hold out or not. She said on day her phone would be fixed but can use what's app on her laptop. This was no excuse. I offered to pay for her up to date dbs she didn't seem to mind this and appeared to be understanding why this was important to have the checks carried out. I've tried few days after. Nothing. It's a shame she couldn't be upfront and follow up what she said she was happy to do. This isn't fair on children who have people come to babysit them. I lost out on few others hiring her which also means I've lost few options. Would have been professional and mature thing to do is let me know either way. All the best though!
