We are seeking a warm, patient, and proactive nanny to care for our 20-month-old boy who is NGT-fed (nasogastric tube-fed). The ideal candidate will be comfortable with medical needs, focused on positive oral feeds, and enthusiastic about supporting speech, language development, and social skills through play and daily routines.

About Our Family
- One loving toddler, navigating early language and social milestones.
- Medical note: NG tube feeding at home
- Active, curious child who enjoys music, motions toys and outdoor exploration.
- We value a calm, structured routine with plenty of positive reinforcement.

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, compassionate daily care aligned with our child’s needs.
- Support and encourage positive oral feeding skills, including practicing safe, age-appropriate oral intake strategies under parental guidance
- Support speech and language development through intentional, fun activities:
- Reading developmentally appropriate books
- Singing, rhymes, and sound games
- Verbal turn-taking, modeling clear speech, and responsive labeling
- Encouraging early language use and expressive vocabulary
- Foster social skills through interactive play with peers
- Cooperative play, sharing, and following simple routines
- Reinforcing empathy, naming emotions, and engaging in pretend play
- Maintain a safe, stimulating environment:
- Light household tasks related to the child’s care (tidying feeding supplies, organizing toys, etc.)
- Communicate openly with parents about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns

### Requirements
- Experience caring for toddlers, preferably with medical/nutrition experience related to NG-tube feeding.
- Knowledge of safe feeding practices and how to support oral feeding progression
- Demonstrated ability to promote speech and language development in toddlers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: patient, calm, positive, and engaging.
- Ability to create a structured, predictable routine with flexible adaptation as needed.
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred; willingness to update if not current.
- Non-smoker
- Background check and references required.
- Legally eligible to work and available for a consistent schedule.
