About Me
I am looking for a kind, patient, and creative tutor to work 1:1 with my 10-year-old daughter, who is Autistic with a PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) profile.
About my daughter:
• She is bright, curious, and has a wonderful sense of humour.
• She thrives with flexibility, patience, and a gentle, relationship-led approach.
• Support will focus on building confidence, fostering engagement, and encouraging learning in a way that feels safe and enjoyable for her.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience supporting children with Autism and/or a PDA profile.
• Is adaptable, creative, and able to think outside the box.
• Can build a positive, trusting relationship over time.
• Ideally has tutoring or educational experience (though a strong background in SEN support is equally valuable).
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to a child’s education and confidence.
My Requirements
About the role:
• Currently 5 hours, one day per week (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday).
• Potential for additional hours to cover maternity leave and beyond (up to 15 hours per week).
• Sessions will take place in our home in Tunbridge Wells.
