About Me
I am a new Childminder based in Swadlincote that is still undergoing some training but will be open and ready in December 2025!!
I am a social butterfly, who is extremely loving and caring.
I am always cheerful and have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate on all levels.
I have always had great organisation skills, have lots of childcare experience and believe that all children should be treated with love, care and understanding. I always use PACE - Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy.
I also have a lot of experience working with Autistic and ADHD children.
I will also be accepting any Children through government funding where applicable.
I like to work in a very fun but professional manner.
I always have an enthusiastic approach to all the work I do.
Everyday is different - I love working with Children and helping them along their journey!
My Experience
I currently work with Cambrian group as a Residential Child’s Care Worker for Children that have been through Trauma and successfully progressed to a Senior Carer in May 2025. I have undergone and successfully
passed 4 weeks worth of training which includes -
• Qualified in Level 2 & 3 residential childcare
• First Aid trained
• Paediatric first aid
• Child development
• Safeguarding
• Child health & safety
• ADHD & Autism awareness
• Behavioural management
• Seizure training
• Medication
• Mental health awareness
• Eating disorders
• Nutrition
I also hold a full driving licence & an enhanced DBS PASS.
I have been trained in all the above and learned many things on a day to day basis with Cambian.
I have found a love in care and, also the care these children need which has only advanced my knowledge, understanding and experience. No two days are the same!
I love working with children and love meeting all the needs and expectations that are expected of me.
Everyday is a new challenge for me.
I am looking now to leave cambian and enhance my career and become a full- time Nanny/Childminder & babysitter!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
I will charge an additional £2.00 per full day/ £1.00 half day to cover the costs of food however, pack lunches are also an option.
