About Me
Hi, I’m Teresa and I run Teresa’s Tiny Tots from my family home in Ramsden Heath. I’ve always loved working with little ones and feel so lucky to spend my days helping them learn, play and grow.
I want every child in my care to feel safe, happy and loved — just like they would at home. I’m a big believer in learning through play and adventure, so our days are filled with stories, crafts, outdoor fun and plenty of laughter.
Being a mum myself, I understand how hard it can be to leave your child with someone new. That’s why I take time to get to know each family, building strong relationships so parents feel reassured and children feel secure.
At Teresa’s Tiny Tots, children are encouraged to be curious, creative, and confident while enjoying a warm, caring, and homely setting.
My Experience
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with over 15 years of teaching experience. During my career I have:
- Taught across Key Stage 2, supporting children of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs.
-Led a variety of subjects, including Maths, Science, Computing, and Religious Education.
-Organised whole-school events such as Science Days, Heritage Week, and Times Table Rockstar Days.
-Held leadership roles including year group lead and phase leader, supporting staff as well as pupils.
This wealth of experience means I understand how young children learn best and how to nurture their individual needs.
My Qualifications
-Degree in Early Years Education
- PGCE and QTS
-15 years’ classroom teaching experience
- Homebased Childcare Course
- BTEC Early Years
- Up to date paediatric first aid training
- Safeguard training
- Food and Hygiene
- Ongoing CPD in areas such as SEND support, play-based learning, and outdoor education
