My Experience

I've looked after my younger siblings from a young age, as well as babysat primary school children for local families for 5 years. More recently, I worked in a nursery for almost two years, approximately 10 hours/week, where I helped to care for children ranging from 8 months to 8 years of age. My main responsibilities across these roles included supervising play, supporting homework, leading creative activities like drawing and painting, and helping with daily routines. In the nursery, I also read stories, encouraged learning through play, and worked alongside staff to keep the environment safe and welcoming.

My Qualifications

Experienced working in a nursery as well as babysitting for younger siblings and family friends, with children of different ages. Confident in preparing simple meals, organising fun activities, and supporting with homework. Responsible, patient, and reliable, with strong communication skills. Knowledgeable about basic first aid and safety awareness (willing to complete certified training if required).

My Availability

I am available up to three days a week in the afternoons and evenings to fit around my lectures at the University of Bristol!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

I usually charge £12 to £13 an hour depending on how many children there are and what time of day it is. Happy to agree a fair rate beforehand.
