About Me
I recently moved to Canterbury as a university student and as someone who loves caring for children I was delighted to see so many babysitting opportunities in Canterbury. Taking care of children requires a lot of patience and attention to detail but I enjoy it wholeheartedly.
My Experience
During my summer holidays in 2023 I spent two weeks of work experience at a Nursery in South West London called Seahorse nursery. Where I supervised, engaged and entertained with the nursery children. Assisted the main childcare providers with serving lunch, putting the children to sleep, encouraging fun and education activities and classroom clean up. It was a joy interacting with the children and I received nothing but positive feedback from my time spent at the nursery.
Most importantly I have a younger brother with a large age gap between us, where I have spent most of my life taking care him almost like his second mother. Feeding and changing him when he was a newborn to dropping him off and picking him up from school as a young boy. He’s a lot older and independent now but I see him as my first child ?
