About Me
Kaiya-Ann Lawrence, and as of 09/07/2004, I'm 20 years old. Since I have OCD, I find that cooking, baking, and cleaning are really peaceful and helpful. I completed two years of food studies in secondary school, earning a level 6 on the GCE. During this time, I assisted my aunt with events and her catering business. I own my own business, waxing bodies and selling cosmetics online and on social media in my free time. I've been doing this for three years, and thus far, it's been really successful. Every day, I am able to manage multiple responsibilities. I always approach problem-solving creatively. I'm constantly energised and ready to learn new kills. I am a trustworthy individual with excellent time management skills. I always work diligently, honestly, and neatly. I began a one-year apprenticeship in a nursery learning and training in February 2021. I obtained my level 2 safeguarding early years and childcare services and my high field level 3 award in paediatric first aid. Before beginning my apprenticeship, I also spent a year at Oaklands College studying health and social care. After that, from March 2022 to July 2022, I worked at a food van that served ice cream, hot dogs, coffee, and other sweets while also doing some front of house and host agency work in my free time. I've almost worked at Gail's bakery for 3 months however I had to leave due to me moving houses.
I worked as an engagement key worker for children in care from August 2022 to October 2024. During that time, I also finished my training and obtained my credentials for the following courses. Additionally, I have a few months of experience providing care and dealing with senior citizens.
Currently I am working in a nursery on Mondays, Tuesday and Fridays 30 hours a week. I'm looking for a change of scenery.
My Experience
I have knowledge of dietary restrictions and preferences, as well as baking and cooking. On chopping boards, for instance, red denotes raw meat, green denotes salads and fruits, blue denotes raw fish, yellow denotes cooked meat, brown denotes vegetables, white denotes dairy items, and purple denotes allergies.
