My Experience
My roles and responsibilities as a Sole Charge Nanny included planning age-appropriate activities to encourage growth and development, preparing meals for the children (including bottle-feeding for babies), and collecting older children from school while supervising and assisting with their homework. I also took the children to various activities such as swimming, cricket, football, ballet, as well as Hartbeeps, Twisters and Monkey music for the younger ones.
In addition, I carried out child-related tasks such as doing the children's laundry, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, sterilising bottles and assisting with bath and bedtime routines. I also supported mothers with potty training, weaning, and introducing purees and solids, while ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
My Qualifications
I have knowledge of child development and completed NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. This has allowed me to understand how children develop and how to meet their needs based on their age and stage of development.
I also hold a safeguarding certificate and understands the importance of promoting safeguarding.
My Availability
I am available full time Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to do occasional evening and weekend babysitting as required.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £25.00 per hour (gross)
My hourly rate for childcare services is £25 per hour gross. I am open to the idea of a nanny share arrangement with the suitable family.
