About Me
Hello, my name is Lisa and I am an experienced nanny, living and working in Norfolk. I am happily married to Mark and have two gorgeous grown up children and a lovely son in law. I'm very family orientated and pretty easy going. Professionally, I am a retired midwife and health visitor, so have plenty of experience of supporting families with young children. After leaving my 25 year NHS career, I knew that I wanted to continue working with children, so decided to offer my services as a nanny. For the past 11 months I have been working for a family with two small children (age 4 & 13 months when I started working with them). I really loved caring for the children, who were adorable and I'm hoping to find a similar position with another family as unfortunately, this contract has now ended. I am available to start work immediately, for the right family and position.
I absolutely love working with children and have previously worked in a nursery, in addition to being a registered childminder, though this was many years ago. I am very caring, kind, patient and pretty flexible. I'm active and fun loving and will help your children to achieve their developmental milestones whilst ensuring that they feel safe, happy and well cared for. As a former health professional, I am knowledgeable about a range of health needs and am comfortable with dispensing medication if required. I love animals and am happy to work in a home with pets. I have a gorgeous Border Collie called Barney and have had dogs throughout my life. I enjoy reading, music, dancing and walks on the beach with Barney and my family. I love living in Norfolk as we are spoiled with the numerous fabulous beaches within easy travelling distance. I enjoy being outdoors and would be happy to support children to access outdoor play and extra curricular activities. I am happy to undertake some light household chores pertaining to the children's care (meal prep, children's laundry etc).
I have nanny insurance and an up to date paediatric first aid certificate.
My Experience
I worked as a nanny before having my own children. I was a registered childminder for several years, have worked in a nursery. For 25 years, I was a registered NHS midwife and health visitor, so have plenty of experience with babies and supporting the health and development of young children. For the past 11 months I have been working as a nanny with two young children ( age 13 months & 4).

Qualified midwife and health visitor.
Paediatric First Aider.
My Availability
Available for an immediate start. Am looking for up to 30 hours per week ideally, but open to full time for the right position. I prefer a week day contract but am willing to support with an occasional weekend/evening for babysitting. I am not willing to work nights.
