About Me
Hi! My name is Fanny. I am a 34 and live in West Hampstead. I am starting my childminding setting in February and I am looking for one other child to join my son Leon (he is one year old).
What I used to do before,
I grew up in Switzerland and moved to Paris for my studies in Design. I was lucky to study in both French and English my entire scholarship. Making me fluent in both languages. In 2021 I moved to London to join my British husband. I then decided to go back to my initial passion, children's illustration. From there I decided to become a childminder, bringing together my passion for creativity, children, and caring.
What I want to bring to the children,
My vision is to create a cosy, joyful, bilingual space from my home. I want the little ones to feel safe, understood, and encouraged to be themselves. I plan on having weekly themes based on the children's interest. That will allow them to explore topics in a fun, meaningful way, while helping them discover their own voices.
For outdoor activities I have a beautiful communal garden, but I also enjoy walks to the park, trips to the library or museum. I take on all the advantages of being a small group.
Who lives with me,
I own a gentle, child-friendly, and health-cared Red Labrador of 3 years old. She will be used as a teaching tool for gentle hands, learn about responsibility and respect for animals. While being kept away from the children during meals, naps, busy times and she will always be supervised.
My Experience
Before becoming a childminder, I gained experience caring for children of different ages. I’m also a mum to a one-year-old and a godmother to a five-year-old, which has given me plenty of hands-on experience.
My Qualifications
I’m an Ofsted registered childminder since January 2026. I meet all the required standards for childcare, safety, and learning. I am trained in paediatric first aid, safeguarding, and the children development. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage to support each child’s growth. I also take on new training classes to make sure I provide safe, high-quality care at all times.
I love to share my knowledge with others. I've created a special space in my website dedicated to education and parenting, called "did you know?".
My Availability
Open 47 weeks per year (the planning is defined together at the beginning of your contract)
Standard hours, 8am – 6pm, Mon – Thu
I can be flexible on Friday mornings too (though not included in the fee below)
Excluding bank holidays & inset days
My Fees
- Childminding from £12.00 per hour
My fees are based on being open 47 weeks a year and are spread into 12 equal monthly payments. This includes meals, snacks, nappies & wipes, a gold membership at the Sheriff Center soft play, regular outings.
My fee per day is £129 - I only accept children with a minimum of 3 days a week.
My monthly fee for a full time (4 days a week) : £2021 - price without the funding hours applied.
