About Me
Hi, I am currently undertaking the necessary steps to become a registered childminder in my own home.
I am 42 years old with over 14 years experience of working in children’s early years.
I live at home with my husband and daughter (12 years old).
We have 2 super friendly dogs, who adore children.
I want to ensure I have everything in place before starting my business.
I will be opening in April 2026.
My Experience
I have worked with children in an early years setting for over 14 years.
I have worked closely with the eyfs framework and enjoy observing children, documenting my findings and linking this to the eyfs.
I like to plan activities around children’s interests to ensure they are fully engaged and this allows focus on their next steps.
Each child I care for will have a scrapbook which myself and family’s if they wish to do so can add to, and I feel this is a nice way to follow each child’s journey with me.
This book will be for parents to keep when complete.
My Qualifications
I have level 2 and level 3 in children’s early years.
I have my paediatric first aid.
DBS Checked.
I have my safeguarding and designated lead.
I have outstanding knowledge of the current eyfs framework, and will be implementing this into my setting.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
