As both a committed parent and an enthusiastic academic, I bring a unique combination of lived experience and professional insight to working with children and young people. I have extensive hands-on experience supporting children across all developmental stages — from the early days of newborn care through to the complex social, emotional, and educational needs of adolescents up to 16 years of age.
My Experience
As a parent of three teenagers, including one with special educational needs (SEN), and with professional experience as a youth worker, I bring both personal insight and practical expertise to working with young people and supporting their development. My parenting journey has given me a deep understanding of adolescent challenges — from emotional well being and identity formation to navigating education, friendships, and transitions. Supporting a child with SEN has further enhanced my ability to advocate effectively, adapt to individual needs, and work collaboratively with schools and professionals to ensure inclusive, person-centered care.
