My Requirements

Looking for flexible childcare.
My husband and I are currently looking ahead to childcare options for our little one, starting from September 2026 at this point she will be 1 year old. My husband works a 4 on / 4 off shift rotation at Heathrow, and I am cabin crew, also based at Heathrow. My roster is available around three weeks before the end of each month, we can confirm some days now as we know my husband’s shifts for the foreseeable, however my roster will vary.

We’re ideally looking for around three days of childcare per week, but we would really appreciate some flexibility with which days these are, due to the nature of our shift patterns. We are planning to use the 30 hours funded childcare entitlement as part of the arrangement. This would also need to be throughout the year not just term time.

We’re hoping to find someone who is reliable, understanding of shift work, and can provide a stable, nurturing environment for our daughter. Although we’re not looking to start until September 2026, we’re keen to plan ahead and find the right fit early on.
