About Me
Hello! My name is Kaitlin and I’m looking to join a lovely family for regular agreed upon hours around the school hollidays. I am also available weekends for ad-hoc work. I charge £11 per hour (£15 per hour after 12AM) and am based around Sherborne but am happy to travel further afield.
My Experience
I have been working in a Nursery for 3 years loooking after children from birth to five, I have gained experience working with school aged children from other babysitting roles, I am excited to build on this as a prepare to take on a role as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN- specific school.
During my time as Level 3 Early Years Practitioner I have been a Key Worker for multiple children- I am able to effectively create bonds with children and work in partnership with parents to meet the needs of each child effectively. I am comfortable carrying out personal care routines for children, managing behaviour when needed, assisting with homework tasks, preparing healthy meals, creating fun and engaging activities etc..
I have experience with children whom have English as an additional language (EAL) and SEN children (which will be built on in my new role.)

Child Safegurding training
Food Hygiene training
Allergens training
Manual Handling: safe lifting of children
I am currently completing an EPQ qualification (dissertation):
To what extent does technology impact the development of children in the Early Years?
I am also completing a Level 3 Forest School leader qualification
My Availability
Would ideally be looking for some regular work during school Hollidays- But please reach out to me if you would like some weekend or evening babysitting and I can see if I can arrange something.
