About Me
Our nanny of 6 years is going on maternity leave in mid-December for at least 12 months!
We are a happy busy household with three bright and funny children—13, 10 and 7 - and 2 working parents.
We love food and cooking, art and crafting, swimming and outdoor adventures, books and reading and the ideal candidate will share these interests too.
My Requirements
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and organised Nanny/Housekeeper to support our family of three children—two girls aged 13 and 10, and a boy aged 7.
The successful candidate will create a nurturing environment and deliver practical household support.
Working Hours are flexible and open to discussion
Approximately
Term Time: Monday to Thursday, 1300hrs to 1900hrs (6 hours per day)
School Holidays (including half-term breaks): Monday to Thursday, 08:30 to 19:00 (10.5 hours per day)
Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role caring for school-aged children.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Warm, patient and energetic personality.
• Confident cook, able to plan and prepare meals for a family accommodating food allergies.
• Ability to help with homework, support learning, and encourage children academically.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Current first aid certificate or willingness to attend relevant training course.
• Excellent references from previous employers.
Preferred: Valid driving licence and clean driving record.
Additional Information
• Live out role.
• The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and able to foster a positive, supportive environment for the children and be a good communicator.
• The position is for 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday), with core responsibilities shifting slightly between term time and school holidays to accommodate the family’s schedule.
• There may be requests for occasional additional hours on some weeks
