About Me

Hello

My name is Kimmy and I am married to Chris and we have two children aged 9 and 11.

I have a home from home setting that follows the EYFS ( Early Years Foundation Stage ). We also follow a forest school curriculum where we play and learn outdoors for most of the day , we also have outdoor toilet facilities.

We do alot of creative and fun activities throughout the day , such as painting , play dough, singing, dancing , Makaton , story time . We have themes we learn about each month and our activities , games and creative work is based on those themes .

Babies and small children can rest in cots and I provide all bedding that is washed at the end of the day. I also use a double buggy on walks and outings.
Children have their own towels to dry their hands.

I look after babies and children from 0-4 years old all year round except I close for Christmas /new year and I have a family holiday in August each year. (Same dates each year ) I do not work any bank holidays.

My home is child friendly and welcoming.

We have 2 pet rabbits, Jax and Charlie that live in a large hutch with run, in our garden. As part of our forest school curriculum , children help to feed them and give them fresh water. With my supervision, the children can stroke them .

We have a non smoking/vaping household.
