About Me
Hello
My name is Kimmy and I am married to Chris and we have two children aged 9 and 11.
I have a home from home setting that follows the EYFS ( Early Years Foundation Stage ). We also follow a forest school curriculum where we play and learn outdoors for most of the day , we also have outdoor toilet facilities.
We do alot of creative and fun activities throughout the day , such as painting , play dough , singing, dancing Makaton , story time . We have themes we learn about each month and our activities , games and creative work is based on those themes .
Babies and small children can rest in cots and I provide all bedding that is washed at the end of the day. I also use a double buggy on walks and outings.
Children have their own towels to dry their hands.
I look after babies and children from 0-4 years old.
I can look after children of a school age ( up to 8 years olds ) during school holidays.
My home is child friendly and welcoming.
We have no pets and have a non smoking/vaping household.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare since 2005. I started my career working in a nursery setting and worked as an assistant manager before becoming a childminder when I had my own children.

My Availability
I open from 7.45am -5.30pm
I have a Monday space available now .
From September 2026, I also have Thursday and Friday available any hours between 7.45 am and 5.30pm .
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I take all government funding term time only. Outside of that my rates are £6.50 an hour
