About Me

We are a warm, thoughtful, professional family in Islington looking for an exceptional, development-focused nanny to care for our daughter starting January 2026. We deeply value early childhood education and are seeking someone who brings expertise, intentionality, and joy to their work with babies.

Our daughter is a calm, bright, happy baby with a gentle temperament — several people describe her as “an old soul.” We are committed to giving her rich, nurturing early years and want to partner with a nanny who cares about child development as much as we do.

My Requirements

Live Out Nanny
Full Time Nanny

This is a sole-charge, full-time nanny role supporting one baby in her formative first year. We are looking for a nanny who will create a warm, safe, structured environment and actively engage her in meaningful early learning experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Providing responsive, attuned care following Montessori principles
* Supporting developmental milestones (motor, cognitive, emotional regulation)
* Preparing engaging, sensory-rich and age-appropriate activities each day
* Incorporating gentle routines around feeding, naps, and independent exploration
* Introducing early language stimulation (songs, stories, conversation)
* Taking her to local enrichment activities (Mini Mozart, Rhyme Time, sensory play etc.)
* Facilitating daily time outdoors in nature/the park
* Preparing simple, nutritious meals as she transitions to solids
* Baby-related nursery duties (laundry, room organisation, maintaining a calm environment)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a nanny with strong professional training, genuine curiosity about early childhood development, and a warm, intuitive presence.

Essential:
* Significant experience caring for infants 0–12 months
* A professional, development-focused approach
* Excellent communication and emotional intelligence
* Reliability, punctuality, and commitment

Highly desirable:
* AMI Montessori Diploma or Montessori Centre International (MCI) qualifications
* Experience applying Montessori philosophy with infants
* Fluency in additional language for natural bilingual immersion eg French or Spanish
* Degree or formal early childhood education background
* Experience planning enrichment activities and supporting early years development

If you love the idea of helping one child thrive in a calm, loving home — and being appreciated for your expertise — this is a special opportunity.

WHY THIS ROLE IS APPEALING
* One baby — the luxury of truly focusing on an individual child
* Parents who value your knowledge and welcome your ideas on early development
* A calm, sweet, easy baby who is a joy to care for
* Montessori-aligned home values
* Lovely, safe neighbourhood with parks, cafés, and baby activities in walking distance
* Opportunity to design enriching daily routines and activities
* A respectful, supportive family who believe in partnership and open communication
* Competitive salary for the right professional
* 30 days paid holiday (including public holidays)
* Stable full-time hours without long working days

SALARY & BENEFITS
* We are offering a highly competitive package, fully reflecting Montessori qualifications, language skills, and professional experience.
* Salary will be discussed individually with candidates and can accommodate premium expectations for the right person.

HOW TO APPLY
Please reply with your CV and a short note about your experience with Montessori or early years development. We look forward to welcoming someone wonderful into our daughter’s world.
