THE ROLE: A DEVELOPMENTAL PARTNER
We are looking for more than just a carer; we are looking for a Developmental Partner who will invest in our daughter's early education and growth.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can offer one or both of the following specialist skills:

Montessori Trained/Practiced Nanny: You have experience and a passion for the Montessori pedagogical approach. You understand how to prepare a stimulating environment, encourage natural curiosity, and gently foster independence from an early age.

Bilingual Nanny (French or Spanish Immersion): You are a native or fluent speaker of French or Spanish and are excited to offer our daughter full language immersion through daily care, play, stories, and songs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Holistic Development: Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, physical, and emotional growth, tailored to the Montessori philosophy (if applicable) and/or a language immersion environment.

Daily Care: All aspects of baby care, including feeding (bottles/solids transition), nappy changes, managing nap routines, and ensuring health and safety.

Routine Management: Establish and maintain a secure, predictable, and flexible daily routine in partnership with us.

Nursery Duties: Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised environment for the baby (e.g., child’s laundry, sterilising bottles, tidying toys and play areas).

Outings & Socialisation: Take the baby to local classes (e.g., baby sensory, music), playgrounds, parks (Highbury Fields, Caledonian Park), and libraries, leveraging our fantastic Islington location.

Communication: Maintain open, clear, and consistent communication with us about our daughter’s day, milestones, and any concerns.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experience: Proven, verifiable experience (minimum 3+ years) as a professional Nanny, specifically with babies/infants (under 1 year old).

Specialist Skill: You are either Montessori Trained/Practiced OR a Native/Fluent French/Spanish speaker committed to full language immersion. Valued Bonus: Other formal training/qualifications in early child development including Forest School

Qualifications: Childcare qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3 or equivalent), Enhanced DBS check, and up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certificate.

Personal Attributes: Warm, loving, proactive, reliable, punctual, highly organised, discreet, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.

Right to Work: Must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
