Hi! I’m Aneesha, I'm 28 and a calm and caring tutor, passionate about helping children grow in confidence and curiosity through creative, tailored learning. As someone with ADHD, I bring creativity, energy, and empathy into my teaching. My neurodiversity allows me to connect deeply with students who may learn differently, helping them find strategies that work uniquely for them. My Experience
My experience of teaching across Year 1, Year 4, and Year 5 in both one- and two-form entry schools, giving me a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and how to adapt learning to each child’s unique needs.
I use a range of Assessment for Learning (AFL) strategies — such as questioning, self-explanation, and feedback — to help pupils build confidence and independence. I’m experienced in scaffolding, differentiation, and adaptive teaching, often using visuals, breaking tasks into smaller steps, and adding creative, multisensory activities to make learning engaging and accessible.
Alongside my teacher training, I’m a qualified TEFL teacher and have taught English in Spain. I speak Spanish, which helps me connect with learners from different backgrounds and support language development with care and understanding.
I love helping children build confidence in English, Maths, and all areas of primary learning from SATs preparation to feeling ready and excited for secondary school.
