My Experience
I began my career working in daycares from a young age, developing a strong foundation in early years care and child development. I then moved into supporting children and adults with complex needs and challenging behaviours, including those with medical requirements.

I spent six years as a Deputy Manager in a community setting, leading a team that supported individuals with behavioural and emotional needs. After that, I joined Safe Places for Children Northern Ireland as a Key Worker, where I supported young people in residential care. My role involved helping children transition safely in and out of care, providing emotional and practical support, and assisting with education, housing, and life skills to prepare them for independence.

In March 2025 I took on a new challenge and opened my own business, Face Clinic, based in Holywood. Running my own clinic has strengthened my organisational and people skills while allowing me to continue doing something I’m passionate about helping others feel confident and cared for. I will be running my business alongside this position, ensuring full commitment and reliability in both roles.

I’m now looking to return to a hands-on role working with children and families, where I can bring my experience, empathy, and energy to support a happy and positive home environment.
