My Experience
While I don’t have formal childcare employment experience, I’ve spent lots of time working with children in voluntary roles. I’ve helped in Reception and Year 1 classes, been a Young Leader with Rainbows (Girlguiding) for many years, and regularly help at a local toddler group. I also have a younger brother with Down’s syndrome, which has given me real understanding and experience supporting children with additional needs. I’m confident using Makaton and can adapt easily to suit each child’s individual needs.
My Qualifications
Whilst I don’t yet hold formal childcare qualifications, I’m confident using Makaton and have strong hands-on experience from voluntary roles, for which I can provide references. I’m also very happy to complete DBS checks and partake in any training that would help me to support your children!

I have lots of availability from January 2026 - August 2026 but can be flexible and discuss in more detail with families!
