My Experience

I’ve worked with children of different ages and abilities, including those with special needs and disabilities. That experience has taught me patience, flexibility, and the importance of seeing each child as an individual with their own pace and potential. I love taking part in activities that encourage growth, awareness, and fulfilment — whether that’s through creative play, learning, or everyday routines.

Alongside childcare, I’ve worked as a cleaner, so I’m very comfortable keeping a household organised and running smoothly. I’m good at managing multiple tasks at once and staying calm and reliable even on busy days.

My Qualifications

While I don’t hold formal childcare certificates, I bring years of hands-on experience caring for children and supporting families. My journey started in the Police Cadets, where I spent three years developing responsibility, teamwork, and first aid skills. After leaving, I worked in my mum’s school, supporting children from Reception through Year 5, including time as a specialist assistant for children with special needs and disabilities.

Since then, I’ve continued to nanny and babysit for friends and families, caring for children from newborns through to teenagers. Most recently, I spent a year in Australia working as a live-in nanny, again supporting children across different ages and needs.

Alongside childcare, I have two years’ experience as a professional cleaner in both household and business settings — so I’m confident managing home tasks as part of my role. I also have first aid training from my cadet years and am happy to renew it, along with completing an up-to-date DBS check.

Above all, I aim to be a trustworthy and dependable presence for any family — someone you can count on to care for your children as if they were my own.

My Availability

I’m available every evening and night throughout the week, as well as all day on Sundays and Mondays. With a bit of notice, I can often adjust my schedule to suit your needs on other days too. I run my own business alongside childcare, which gives me the flexibility to work around different family routines. I always do my best to accommodate what works best for you and your children.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour

My standard rate starts from £18 per hour, depending on the type of care and responsibilities involved. Overnight care is available at a higher rate, which we can discuss based on your family’s needs. I ask for a minimum booking of two hours for any childcare session.

I understand every household is different, so I’m happy to discuss payment to find a rate that feels fair and comfortable for everyone. My goal is always to provide reliable, high-quality care that gives families peace of mind.
