My Experience

I have over eight years of experience working in a school setting as both a Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor, supporting children of all ages and abilities. During this time, I developed a deep understanding of how children learn and grow, as well as how important it is to meet their emotional, social, and educational needs.
My time in school allowed me to work closely with parents to support children’s learning, encourage positive behaviour, and help each child reach their full potential. I also gained valuable experience in supporting children with additional needs, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

As a Midday Supervisor, I was responsible for promoting safe and positive play, helping children build friendships, and ensuring their wellbeing during outdoor activities.
Alongside my professional experience, being a mum of three children has given me a strong understanding of the daily needs, emotions, and routines of young children. It has helped me develop a patient, caring, and understanding approach that I bring into my childminding practice every day.

These experiences have shaped my philosophy as a childminder. My setting is designed to be a “home away from home” — a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow with confidence. I believe that children learn best when they feel secure and emotionally supported, and that belief is at the heart of everything I do.

My Qualifications

EYFS Statutory Framework, Safeguarding , Tummies ( food hygiene), First aid Paediatric and Safe Sleep.

My Availability

I am available Term Time 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

• Childminding from £7.50 per hour
