My Experience
I have experience as a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator in long day care settings in Australia, working with children aged 4 months to six years. My role has involved planning, implementing, and evaluating play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). I support children’s holistic development across key domains - including language, cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth - through intentional teaching, guided play, and meaningful routines.
My work includes supporting infants with feeding, rest, and sensory exploration; guiding toddlers through emerging independence, fine and gross motor skills, and early communication; and extending preschoolers’ learning through early literacy, numeracy, and school-readiness programs. I provide responsive care that supports emotional regulation and positive relationships, using frameworks such as Circle of Security and the Abecedarian language approach to strengthen attachment and communication.
I also have experience working with children with additional needs, including those supported by occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and other allied health professionals. This has included observing developmental progress, contributing to individual learning plans, and embedding therapy strategies into everyday routines and activities. My Qualifications
I hold a Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care in Australia. I also have a Child Protection qualification, along with First Aid in Education and Care settings, Basic First Aid, CPR, and Basic Food Handlers by NSW Food Authority certifications.
My Availability
I am open to both live-in and live-out arrangements. L/I: I am looking for part-time hours between 25 – 40 hours per week. L/O: a minimum of 35 hours for live-out roles (note: may consider a minimum of 25 hours per week).
