My Experience

I have over 20 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting children across a range of ages and abilities. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how children learn and grow, nurturing their curiosity, confidence, and love of learning through engaging, child-centred approaches. Alongside my professional experience, I’ve also raised three children of my own, giving me valuable insight into the joys and challenges of early childhood from both a parent’s and educator’s perspective. This combination of professional expertise and personal experience allows me to provide a caring, consistent, and well-rounded environment for every child in my care.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 CACHE qualification in Childcare, reflecting my strong foundation in early years education and child development. I am fully trained in paediatric first aid, ensuring the highest standards of safety and care for all children. My experience includes extensive 1:1 SEND teaching, supporting children with a wide range of additional needs through tailored, inclusive approaches. I have also completed training in early years brain development, deepening my understanding of how young children learn and thrive during these crucial early stages. In addition, I am trained in safeguarding at DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) level, giving me the knowledge and confidence to maintain a safe and protective environment for every child in my setting.

My Availability

Open from 7:30 til 5pm, Tuesday to Friday. I am open to discussing a more flexible time for all new parents/carers.

My Fees

• Childminding from £8.00 per hour

£2 lunch per day
£2 snacks per day
Additional costs of outings as and when advised.
