Hello! I’m Arisa, and I’m 25 years old. I currently live in Manchester, where I completed my Master’s degree at the University of Manchester. I’m a warm, caring, and patient person who genuinely enjoys being around children. I believe that every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, supported, and loved, and I always do my best to make them feel exactly that.
I’ve always had a natural connection with kids, the kind that can’t really be explained but just happens. Even when I walk down the street, little children tend to smile, wave, or keep looking at me all the way! It’s something I’ve noticed since I was young, and it makes me truly believe that I have an energy children trust and feel comfortable with.
Personality-wise, I’m calm and thoughtful, yet cheerful and positive. I love listening to music, watching movies, and discovering new things about the world. I don’t smoke or drink, and I like to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle. I’ve also lived in over ten different countries, which has made me very open-minded, adaptable, and understanding of different family values and cultures.
I speak four languages — English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, which often helps me connect with children from diverse backgrounds. I enjoy teaching them simple phrases, songs, or games in other languages if the parents are happy with it.
My Experience
My childcare experience comes mainly from looking after my younger siblings and my relatives’ children of various ages, from toddlers to school-aged kids. Through these years, I’ve learned to be extremely patient, observant, and understanding of each child’s unique personality. I know when to give children space, when to comfort them, and how to turn even ordinary moments into something fun and meaningful.
I love engaging with kids in creative ways, whether it’s through storytelling, drawing, singing, or just chatting about their favorite things. I always listen carefully to what they say because I believe feeling heard is very important for children’s confidence and emotional growth. I’m also attentive to routines: mealtimes, naps, and playtime balance are things I handle with care and consistency.
