About Me

Hi, I’m Shania! For the past three years, I’ve worked as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, supporting children with a wide range of needs and personalities. During this time, I’ve learned how to make every child feel seen, supported, and valued whether that’s through patience, encouragement, or simply creating a space where they feel safe to be themselves.

I’m now moving into childcare and nannying because I truly enjoy building close, nurturing relationships with children and their families. I love the heart to heart moments, celebrating small achievements, creating fun, meaningful routines that help children feel settled and happy.

My SEN background has helped me become calm under pressure, understanding, and adaptable. I’m confident in supporting emotional regulation, managing different behaviours, tailoring my approach to each child’s unique needs. More than anything, I care deeply about making children feel loved, supported, free to explore the world around them.

As a nanny or childcare provider, I bring warmth, reliability, a genuine passion for helping little ones grow. Whether it’s reading stories, doing creative activities, helping with milestones, or simply offering comfort after a long day, I’m committed to creating a positive, joyful environment for every child in my care.
