My Experience

Little leaders, Rothwell - caring for nursery children
It can be difficult to understand how the children communicate because they may not have developed those skills yet. Therefore, I have had to use my communication skills to listen carefully. I interacted with and monitored children when the other staff were busy which helped me build independence with my work.

Drama mentoring, Brooke weston - helped in key stage 3 lessons
I lead group activities such as games that I helped students build their confidence by providing them with advice on how they can improve. I worked collaboratively with other staff members to help the class learn.

In health and social care i did a course work unit dedicated to first aid. i also got first aid training where i had to do a role play assessment. Additionally, less than a year ago i went to a session that reminded me of the basics of first aid.

For years i have babysat my siblings and cousins. my youngest cousin is a few months old and i have fed, burped and settled him when my help was required. My other cousin who is now four i have also babysat and i played with her and made sure she was engaged. My youngest brother is 8 and i have helped care for him his whole life. I even have experience with older children as my sister and brother are 14 and 15.

Due to doing a degree in primary education i am constantly gaining new experience within schools.

NANNA Animal shelter, Irchester - Care for the animals
despite this role being around animals it displays my dedication to my work and caring for those around me. I cleaned out and fed hundreds of animals while working with people I have never met before to reach common aims. I have learned to adapt to different roles as I need to work around what needs to be done rather than what I want to do. I have learned to read non verbal cues given by animals to know when I need to step away.

My Availability

i am available in evenings, most afternoons on monday and tuesday. All day wednesday, friday, saturday and sunday. some weeks if i am on placement this availability may change.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

i want my fees to be fair and affordable to take the pressure off parents.
