Hi, I’m Marnie, I’m 25 years old. I’m a bubbly and friendly babysitter who loves making kids feel comfortable and happy. I’m calm when needed but I can also be fun, silly and full of energy, which helps me keep little ones entertained in a way that feels natural and safe. I always follow routines, listen to what parents want and make sure every child feels understood.
My Experience
I have strong first hand experience caring for children with additional needs. My daughter has Down syndrome, a heart condition and was NG tube fed, so I’m confident with tube feeding, giving medication, following medical routines and supporting children with complex or sensory needs. I understand different communication styles and behaviours, and I’m good at handling tougher moments gently. I’m also experienced with newborns, toddlers and older children and can manage feeding, bedtime and all the day to day care they need.
My Qualifications
I have hands on experience caring for children with additional needs, including NG tube feeding, medication management and supporting sensory and communication differences. I have experience with Down syndrome, heart conditions and newborn care. I also have first aid knowledge and strong practical skills from caring for my own children. I truly believe the best way to learn, is to have hands on experience!
My Availability
I’m available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday up until 8pm. If you message me your times, I can let you know exactly what slots I have free.
