About Me
Hi! My name is Vida, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I'm married with three grown-up children and passionate about creating a safe, nurturing space where children can explore, learn and grow with confidence.
Having worked in the NHS whilst raising my own children, I experienced how difficult it can be to find a reliable and flexible childcare. This has inspired me to train as a registered childminder so I can support other parents, offering care that is reassuring.
My aim is to create a warm and stable environment where every child feels valued, encouraged and supported in their development. I’m dedicated to helping families find balance by ensuring each child receives the care they need to grow and thrive
My Experience
I have a strong professional background in caring for both children and families. I have worked in a maternity ward (delivery suite) and the Mother & Baby Unit Ward where I supported new mothers and new-borns during some of their most important moments. This experience strengthened my understanding of postnatal care and early bonding.
I have worked within the mental health sector with both adults and children since 2003. This has given me valuable insight into emotional wellbeing, behavioural needs, and the importance of patience, empathy, and clear communication.
This nuanced experience has equipped me with a calm, supportive approach and the confidence to care for children with a wide range of needs. Also, working through the recovery model has been the greatest opportunity to make positive impact on lives of others. I have developed confidence, patience and the ability to respond calmly and appropriately to children and families with wide range of needs.
My holistic approach embraces the whole person and the wider community, aiming to create a sense of wellbeing through connection, activity, learning, and giving each child a life filled with meaning. This vision has inspired the creation of the newly opened Nurture & Bloom Childminding Services.

4 weeks now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how well he has settled in. He is only 1 year old, so naturally I was quite nervous about leaving him, especially as this was his first experience being away from home. However, she has been absolutely amazing at making both him and me feel comfortable.
She is so kind, caring, nurturing and patient with him, and it is clear that she genuinely cares about the children in her care. My son has already built such a lovely bond with her and trusts her, which gives me so much reassurance. Seeing him happy and comfortable with her makes leaving him so much easier.
She keeps me updated throughout the day, which I really appreciate. She lets me know how he is doing, what he has been up to and how he is getting on, so I never feel out of the loop. This has been especially reassuring on the days when I’ve felt worried about him being away from home.
She also provides such a lovely variety of experiences. They do lots of activities, attend different playgroups and get out and about, which I love because he is getting the opportunity to socialise, explore and learn while having fun.
I really appreciate how understanding she is of my worries as a mum and how she always reassures me. She has made what could have been a very difficult transition feel so much easier.
After only 4 weeks, I can already see how comfortable and happy my son is there, and that means everything to me. I would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a caring, nurturing and trustworthy childminder. We feel very lucky to have found her! ❤️

Our boys have been going to Vida since the beginning of September. They always come home happy with full tummies and stories to tell, and we get lots of photos during the day. Vida is very caring and always puts a smile on their faces. She plans fun activities and even plays football with them! Thank you, Vida, for the home from home care you provide!

Honestly I feel absolutely blessed that my daughter is going to Nurture and bloom she receives the best childcare from Vida . A warm and inviting setting
It’s like a home from home with lots of activities to do. My daughter who had never been in childcare before settled straight away and that’s all down to Vida and her calming approach and loving nature. I feel reassured throughout the day with lots of updates and photos. So pleased Vida goes above and beyond to make everyday an enjoyable happy experience for my daughter.
