My Experience

I have a strong professional background in caring for both children and families. I have worked in a maternity ward (delivery suite) where I supported new mothers and new-borns during some of their most important moments. This experience strengthened my understanding of postnatal care and early bonding.

I have worked within the mental health sector with both adults and children since 2003. This has given me valuable insight into emotional wellbeing, behavioural needs, and the importance of patience, empathy, and clear communication.

This nuanced experience has equipped me with a calm, supportive approach and the confidence to care for children with a wide range of needs. Also, working through the recovery model has been the greatest opportunity to make positive impact on lives of others. I have developed confidence, patience and the ability to respond calmly and appropriately to children and families with wide range of needs.

My holistic approach embraces the whole person and the wider community, aiming to create a sense of wellbeing through connection, activity, learning, and giving each child a life filled with meaning. This vision has inspired the creation of the newly opened Nurture & Bloom Childminding Services.

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Childminding from £7.50 per hour

Childminding from £7.50 per hour
