My Experience

I’ve spent over ten years working closely with children from babies right through to school age, and during that time I’ve gained experience in a wide range of roles within childcare. I started my career as a Nursery Nurse and gradually progressed into leadership roles, which has given me a really well-rounded understanding of how to support children’s needs at every stage.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported many children with routines, emotional regulation, confidence-building, and learning through play. I’ve also worked closely with families and professionals to make sure children feel understood, supported, and able to grow at their own pace.

More recently, I’ve led teams and helped establish nurturing environments where children feel safe, happy and valued. This experience has strengthened my confidence in understanding child development, creating gentle structure, and supporting children through change, new experiences and everyday milestones.

My approach is calm, patient and responsive. I truly enjoy getting to know each child as an individual and building trusting relationships where they can feel secure, relaxed and free to be themselves.

My Qualifications

I am fully qualified in Early Years with a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, and I also hold a Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Early Years Practice. Alongside this, I have additional training in safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food safety and leadership.

These qualifications, combined with my practical experience, mean I have a strong understanding of child development, safe practice and high-quality care.

My Availability

I am currently available for a full-time nanny position. I’m flexible with start and finish times and happy to work around a family’s routine, including supporting with morning starts, school runs, meals, bedtime routines, and general day-to-day care.

As I have a school-aged child of my own, he would be with me during school holidays, half terms and occasional inset days. This often creates a lovely opportunity for children to build friendships and enjoy shared play in a relaxed, family-style environment.

My Fees

• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

Every family has different needs, so I prefer to agree fees based on the hours and responsibilities involved. I’m open to conversation and happy to discuss rates during the initial enquiry.
