About Me

Hi!
I am Keilah, a babysitter from Newport who loves children and want to make caring for them part of my life. I have a younger sibling I took care of a lot growing up, and supporting children to develop safely is my pleasure. I am very patient, kind, reliable, understanding and loving, and I am always using feedback to make my practice better and better. I am always on time, have good problem solving skills and work well under pressure.

My Experience

I have experience with children aged 3-12 months, and toddlers 1-5. I have also cared for children 6 and a bit older, as well as a 12 year old. I have a little experience with special needs, as I volunteered with Sparkle Children’s Charity, working with children with ALN especially ADHD and ASD including mute children. I work best with little ones under 5, but I am willing to adapt to different communication styles, ages and behaviours as I gain more experience.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 emergency first aid certificate, level 2 food hygiene, three enhanced DBS checks (including a child only DBS), an education onboarding certification, and a child safeguarding certificate.

My Availability

I am available on Monday afternoons, Tuesday and Wednesday all day and the weekends. I am also happy to help over holidays and half terms.
