About Me
We are a couple mostly working from home, looking for someone that can entertain our child while we focus on work.
We live in Chelmsford, not far from the city centre.
We do not smoke, nor have pets (although we would love to have some in the future).
Mum currently has an office job, but has worked as a professional nanny for many years, so she is fully aware of the challenges of the job.
We consider ourselves to be very friendly and open people, easygoing and quick to make new friends.
My Requirements
Starting from February 2026.
Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm looking after our 1 year old son while we focus on work. Starting from August 2026 we will also need help on Friday mornings.
We are looking for someone to keep him happy and busy both at home and outside, taking him for walk or to activities. Non-smoker preferred.
Keeping the child's areas tidy and clean. Light housekeeping (emptying dishwasher, vacuum cleaning common room) during nap.
No laundry, no ironing. I enjoy cooking so I would prepare food myself most of the time. No need to drive the child around, as we live close to town centre and all relevant places can be reached with a short walk.
We also expect that we will take care of the baby's medical appointments.
During nap time, if no specific activity is required, we have no problem if the nanny wants to watch some Netflix, read a book or do some other relaxing activity.
Our son is one year old with no specific requirements or health condition. He simply needs engagement during the waking hours and standard childcare for his age. We want to spend as much time as possible with him, so, even during our working hours, we will try to sneak out of our jobs and spend some time with our baby
