My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience working with children across a wide range of ages, settings, and needs. My background includes working in after-school care and holiday programmes, where I supported groups of children through structured activities, play, and daily routines. I’ve also worked in primary schools as a teacher assistant, both in group settings and one-on-one with children who have SEND needs, providing individualized support, guidance, and encouragement to help them succeed.

In addition, I have worked in several nurseries in both New Zealand and the UK, caring for toddlers through preschool-aged children. In these roles, I was responsible for supporting developmental milestones, creating engaging learning environments, and ensuring a safe, nurturing space for each child. My diverse experience has given me a strong understanding of child development, behavior support, and the importance of building positive, trusting relationships with children and families.

My Qualifications

I hold a certified Child First Aid qualification and have completed numerous Flick Learning courses, covering key areas of childcare and child development. These qualifications equip me with up-to-date knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to provide safe, engaging, and developmentally supportive care for children of all ages.
