About Me
We are a warm, calm and organised family living in Maida Vale with identical twin daughters and our small Cavapoo, Pinot. The girls will attend N Family Club Nursery (Maida Vale) full-time, and we are looking for a reliable and nurturing nanny to support the morning and evening wraparound routine.
This is a long-term, part-time role ideal for a local nanny who truly enjoys working with babies and supporting family life.
My Requirements
Start Date: October 2026
Location: Maida Vale near Westbourne Park Station
Children: Identical twin girls (born 8 January 2026)
Schedule: ~12 hours/week (wraparound care)
Days: 3 days per week (Tues/Weds/Thurs ideal, but flexible)
Times: 7:30–9:00am + 4:30–7:00pm
Weekly Schedule
Mornings (7:30am – 9:00am):
-Help get the twins dressed, fed, and ready for the day
-Prepare bottles/snacks and pack nursery bags
-Assist with drop-off (walking distance or by car)
-Light morning reset of bottles and baby items (if time allows)
Evenings (4:30pm – 7:00pm):
Assist with nursery pick-up
Manage twin logistics (buggy, bags, bottles, coats)
Prepare and feed dinner
Support bath and bedtime wind-down routine
Reset bottles and nursery bags for next day
Light housework (kitchen tidy, play area reset)
Light cleaning related to the twins (sterilising bottles, wiping eating area)
Occasional light cooking (simple family meals if needed)
Small errands or shopping when time allows
Additional Availability (Optional but Appreciated):
We would love a nanny who is open to additional hours occasionally, including:
-Evening babysitting to give Mum and Dad a night off
-Weekend help (flexible, ad hoc)
-Extra hours during nursery sickness days
-Holiday cover when nursery is closed
-Ad hoc longer shifts when both parents have work commitments or travel
-These extras are always arranged in advance and paid additionally.
Key Responsibilities:
-Warm, attentive, safe care for two babies at once
-Managing drop-offs and pick-ups confidently
-Supporting feeding routines, solids introduction, and bottle prep
-Encouraging developmental play suited to twins
-Managing twin logistics smoothly and calmly
-Light household tasks and simple cooking/shopping-
-Creating a tidy, ordered environment around the children
-Clear daily communication with parents
-Comfortable around Pinot, our friendly Cavapoo
Essential Requirements:
-Strong infant experience (twin or multiple experience ideal)
-Enhanced DBS
-Paediatric First Aid
-Excellent references
-Fluent English
-Reliable, calm, organised, gentle energy
-Non-smoker
-Comfortable with a small dog
-Comfortable driving (family car provided for errands/pick-ups)
Desirable Qualities:
-Childcare qualifications or Early Years background
-Understanding of baby routines and developmental milestones
-Experience helping with sleep cues, feeding schedules, and twin routines
-Proactive, warm, tidy, and structured
Best Fit For:
-A local nanny in W9/W2/W10 wanting stable, predictable wraparound hours
-Someone with a morning job or childcare studies
-A nanny with school-aged children seeking part-time work
