About Me

Sundial Childminding offers a safe, calm and nurturing home-from-home environment in Peacehaven with the aim of enabling every child to develop confidence and independence as they grow. In this small-group setting, children enjoy sensory play, crafts, story time, role play, exploring nature and much more!

My name is Kirsty and I work from my home, where I live with my two cats. My downstairs area has a dedicated playroom with toys, books and resources to cater to children of all ages and stages up to 5 years old, with a particular focus on ages up to 3 years.

My childminding setting embraces the natural world, from wooden toys in the playroom to exploring the wonder of the outdoors on walks. Outside, there is a spacious garden with a patio, garden toys and mud kitchen.

With a mixture of play and adult-led activities, children at Sundial discover, learn, create and prepare for the next step on their journey.

Sundial Childminding is open 48 weeks a year, Monday to Wednesday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, covering both term time and school holidays but excluding bank holidays.

My Experience

I have experience caring for little ones from three months to five years. I also have qualifications in Caring for Children and Young People and Home-Based Childcare.

My Qualifications

I hold a full paediatric first aid certificate and designated safeguarding lead certificate. I also have certificates in safer sleep, allergy awareness, food & hygiene, challenging behaviour, forest schooling, SEND and many more.

My Fees

Childminding from £7.00 per hour

For all children, one healthy snack is included, and parents will be required to provide a packed lunch and additional snacks (if required).
