My Requirements

My wife Julie and I are looking for a nanny help with our two children, 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday). Our Children are 11 and 9 and go to school in Woodbridge - we live in Melton. We are looking for someone who can pick them up from school, bring them home, get them settled, and make them dinner/get them fed. They typically finish school at 5pm, our daughter is at Woodbridge Prep (5pm pick up), our son at Woodbridge senior school (5.15pm pick up).

Our current nanny who is retiring typically comes to our house around 3pm, prepares some food (pretty simple stuff really), helps with a bit of a tidy up around the kitchen / dining room (we aren’t looking for a cleaner, but would like someone who is happy to tidy up in the kitchen and dining room, occasional bit of ironing etc.), then picks the kids up, gets them fed and then Julie or I take over around 6pm to 6.30pm.

Occasionally we might ask if you could stay an hour or two longer if both of us are travelling for work and can’t get back until a bit later. Equally we’re quite flexible the other way, and as I often work from home, I can take over a bit earlier when that helps you to leave a bit earlier. So ideally, we are looking for 10 hours a week, around these times/days, with an few extra few hours occasionally that we would agree in advance with you. If you wanted more hours, and are happy to do some household chores, we could potentially look at something there also.
