My Summary

My Experience

I have a wide range of experience working in people-focused roles that have helped me develop strong communication, teamwork, and care skills. I have worked in busy customer service and hospitality environments where patience, responsibility, and the ability to remain calm under pressure were essential. These roles required me to be attentive, reliable, and approachable at all times qualities that transfer directly into childcare.

I also have voluntary care experience, where I supported staff with daily tasks, helped maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and most importantly, provided companionship and emotional support. This experience gave me valuable insight into caring roles, safeguarding awareness, empathy, and the importance of treating every individual with kindness and respect.

In addition, I have experience supporting and coaching younger pupils through school netball, helping them develop confidence, teamwork, and discipline. This role strengthened my leadership skills and my ability to communicate clearly with children of different ages. I am comfortable encouraging positive behaviour, offering reassurance, and helping children feel included and supported. Although I don't have experience with toddlers or babies I'm more than happy to learn and adapt to any child's needs.

Through all of my roles, I have learned the importance of consistency, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement all of which are key when caring for children.

My Qualifications

I have completed A Levels, including Health and Social Care, which provided me with a strong understanding of child development, wellbeing, safeguarding principles, and the importance of supporting emotional and physical needs. I also achieved GCSE Health and Social Care (Grade A), reflecting my strong interest and ability in this area.

Alongside my academic background, I bring excellent communication skills, strong organisation, and good time management. I am confident using initiative, following instructions carefully, and adapting to different household routines.

I am bilingual in English and Welsh, and I have strong IT and administrative skills, which support good communication with parents and careful organisation of childcare responsibilities.

My Availability

I am flexible and dependable with my availability and happy to discuss both regular and occasional childcare needs. I understand that every family is different, and I am open to working around individual schedules wherever possible.

I value punctuality and reliability and understand how important routine and consistency are for children and parents. I am always committed to arriving on time, being prepared, and providing a calm and structured presence.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour

My fees are fair and competitive and reflect my experience, qualifications, and flexible approach to childcare. Rates may vary depending on the number of children, hours required, and type of care needed.
