About Me
I'm a 31 year old female currently figuring out life and looking for more casual work to support this. Whilst I don't have children of my own and am new to babysitting, I have a niece and nephews that I am very close to (ages 4, 7 and 4 months) and have lots of experience working with children in previous work roles. I really enjoy interacting with children and strongly believe that interactions during childhood are extremely important for shaping children as they grow so am always looking to give a really happy, safe space for children to flourish and grow. I am a very friendly person who enjoys being outdoors and trying new things and would love to support in any babysitting areas you need.
My Experience
Whilst not having officially babysat for other families before, I have a lot of experience looking after my niece and nephews - including overnight. I also have a lot of experience with children through previous work such as my wellbeing coach role in primary schools across Newport helping children with things such as physical activity, motor skills, healthy eating etc. Having not babysat in an official capacity before, I completely understand this may cause some people to feel uneasy so would be more than happy to meet and greet beforehand to get to know you first - hopefully you will soon see that I am a very genutand trustworthy person.
My Qualifications
My most recent qualifications are a bachelors degree in criminology and psychology and a masters in clinical psychology. Whilst not directly in line with babysitting, I gained a lot of knowledge around developmental psychology in childhood which is definitely helpful.
