About Me
Hi, my name is Shona, and my husband, Drew, and I are first-time parents to boy/girl twins who turned one in December. We’re really enjoying getting to know them as they grow and develop their own little personalities.
We are a relaxed, approachable family who value trust, consistency and open communication. I work as a primary school teacher and my husband works offshore. It’s important to us to find a nurturing, reliable childcare environment and to build positive relationships with our childminder.
My Requirements
Start: August 2026
Days: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
Times: 7:30/8am until 5:30pm
Contract: Ideally full-time childcare, however term-time only would also be considered
Number of Children: 2
Age of Children at Start of Childcare: 20 Months Old
We are looking for a childminder to care for our twins on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with a start time of either 7:30am or 8:00am, depending on location.
We live in Jackton, so a 7:30am drop-off would work best for a setting close to home. Alternatively, we’re also very interested in childminders based in East Renfrewshire (or surrounding area), which is on my route to work and allows for an 8:00am drop-off while still getting to work on time. Collection would be at 5:30pm.
Ideally, we are looking for year-round childcare, but we would also be happy to consider a term-time only arrangement, which I can accommodate alongside my job.
