My Experience

I have hands-on experience working with children and young people through my role as a Teaching Assistant and Youth Mentor, supporting children aged 8–13 with literacy, numeracy, group activities, and personal development. I regularly assist with classroom learning, behaviour support, and one-to-one guidance, and I am trained in safeguarding, SEND awareness, and behaviour management.

Alongside this, I have supervised children and families at community and family events, helping manage groups, support routines, and ensure a safe, organised environment. My background in customer-facing and supervisory roles has strengthened my sense of responsibility, communication skills, and ability to stay calm and reliable in busy or unpredictable situations.

I am confident supporting children in structured learning, play, and daily routines, and I adapt easily to different family needs.

My Qualifications

I have completed professional training to support and care for children safely and confidently. I am trained in safeguarding, behaviour management, and supporting children with additional needs (SEND). I also have experience and training in helping children with reading, phonics, and basic maths, making me well suited to homework support and learning through play.

I have worked as a Teaching Assistant and Youth Mentor, supporting children aged 8–13 both in group settings and one-to-one. I am currently a university student and have a strong educational background, including A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and French.

I am bilingual in English and French, patient, responsible, and focused on creating a safe, positive, and caring environment for children.
I do also have an enhanced DBS.

My Availability

I am a university student so I am looking for a part time role but will be willing to work with families to suit both our needs.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)

My rates reflect my experience as a Teaching Assistant and Youth Mentor, alongside formal training in safeguarding, behaviour management, and SEND awareness. I provide reliable, attentive childcare and can support children with homework, reading, and structured activities.
• Babysitting: £14 per hour
• Nanny / regular childcare: £16 per hour

Rates may vary depending on the number of children, length of booking, and level of responsibility.
