Hello, my name is Anna and I am a mom to two lovely grown up children.I am a caring and reliable childcare professional with over 20 years’ experience working as a qualified Teaching Assistant in an autism specialist school. I specialise in caring for all school aged children and I have extensive experience supporting children with autism, additional needs and in mainstream.I am warm ,calm and patient and understand the importance of routines, communication and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and secure.
I am currently available for daytime babysitting on Thursdays and Fridays, in the child’s own home. I am also happy to help with evening babysitting and I am available during most school holidays.

My Experience
With over 20 years in education (mainstream and Autism specialist school) I have supported many children and young people (verbal and non verbal) aged 3–18 with their communication, social, emotional, and sensory needs.
I have strong skills in understanding each child as an individual, providing patient, compassionate, and consistent care.
I am experienced in Intensive Interaction with non-verbal autistic children and have worked alongside Speech and Language Therapists to support communication .I confidently use communication systems including Pictures to Trade Objects (POT) and photographic timetables to help children understand routines, reduce anxiety, and support emotional wellbeing.
I have extensive 1:1 experience creating structured routines and supporting children who display challenging behaviour or emotional dysregulation. I analyse behaviour carefully and respond with positive, individualised strategies that meet each child’s needs.
I have successfully supported children in mainstream and with additional needs - autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties,OCD, and PDA.
I am passionate about nurturing children’s confidence and independence, helping them build the skills they need to feel secure, happy, and successful.

NNEB Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education,

My Availability
I work in a school from Monday through to Wednesday and so I am available for adhoc babysitting every evening and all day on a Thursday and Friday if required.
During the school holidays, I have daytime and evening availability .

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My daytime fees are £15( Net pay) per hour.
Evening from 6 pm-£17p/h .
After 11pm -£20p/h -1child .
Additional siblings - £2 extra per hour.
