Hello, my name is Anna and I am married with two lovely grown up children.I am a caring and reliable childcare professional with over 20 years’ experience working as a Qualified Teaching Assistant in an Autism specialist school. I specialise in caring for all school aged children and I have extensive experience supporting all children with autism, additional needs and in mainstream school .I am warm ,calm and patient and understand the importance of routines, communication and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and secure.
I am currently available for evening babysitting and I am available during the school holidays in the child’s own home.
Please note: I am not comfortable working in homes with pets.
I am based in Shirley and available within the local vicinity.

My Experience
My experience is providing calm, caring, and reliable childcare tailored to each child’s individual needs.
I have supported children aged 3–18, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, OCD, and PDA, in both specialist and mainstream settings. I have extensive experience supporting verbal and non-verbal children and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and building trust.
I am experienced in using communication approaches such as Intensive Interaction, visual supports, Photographic timetables to help children feel secure, understood, and confident in their routines.
I am confident supporting children with emotional dysregulation or behaviours that challenge, always using positive, calm, and compassionate strategies.
My priority is creating a safe, happy, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and able to thrive. I am passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing while giving parents peace of mind.

NNEB Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education,
CACHE level 2 certificate -Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences.
CACHE level 2 certificate-Understanding Children and Young Peoples Mental Health.

My Availability
I work in a school from Monday through to Wednesday and so I am available for adhoc babysitting every evening and during the school holidays.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My daytime fees are £15p/h (Net)
Evening from 6 pm-£17
Additional siblings - £2 extra per hour.
