My Summary

My Experience

I am an Early Years Educator at a setting when I’m not studying at university. This has helped me to develop both my academic knowledge and practical experience in early childhood education. During my studies, I completed a first-year nursery placement, gaining hands-on experience working with young children and supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing. I have also undertaken work experience at a nursery in Bath, further strengthening my understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and day-to-day nursery practice.
In addition, I assisted at West Buckland School summer camps, where I supported children in a range of activities, helping to create a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment. I have experience working as an enabler for a teenage boy, supporting him on outings and accompanying him to a weekly fitness class, which helped develop my skills in inclusion, responsibility, and one-to-one support.
Having grown up on a farm, I have a strong love for the outdoors and staying active. I enjoy running and going to the gym, and I bring this energy into my work with children through fun, engaging, and active play experiences. I also have previous babysitting experience, which has further developed my confidence, reliability, and ability to meet children’s individual needs

My Qualifications

I am at university studying Early Childhood Education

I have completed my level 4 and am currently doing my level 5 and 6 in early years

My plan is to become an early years teacher at the end.

I have an level 3 in Health and social care
Level 2 in safeguarding
Level 2 in food and hygiene
A paediatric first aid certificate
