We are Jodie and Dani, and after meeting while working together in a nursery 8 years ago, building a strong friendship and both welcoming babies 4 months apart, we decided to combine our experiences and open our childminding setting together. We are a small, passionate team with a strong background in early years education and a genuine love for supporting children to thrive.
Jodie is a Level 6 qualified Early Years Teacher with over 10 years’ experience working in nurseries and schools. She also holds a degree in Psychology and is currently completing a Master’s in Play Therapy. As a mum of two, Jodie brings both professional expertise and real-life understanding of children’s emotional wellbeing, development and individual needs.
Dani is a Level 3 qualified childcare practitioner with 8 years’ nursery experience, alongside private tutoring experience. She is multilingual and a mum of one, and is passionate about supporting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL). Dani provides inclusive, nurturing support to help every child feel confident, understood and able to communicate at their own pace.

We are excited to be opening our childminding services, offering a safe, nurturing, and happy environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence.
Children in our care will enjoy a variety of engaging activities, including play-based learning, creative activities and outdoor play. Through everyday core experiences, children will be supported to build confidence, independence, and strong social skills.
We value kindness, routine, and positive relationships, so children feel secure and happy throughout the day where their curiosity can be sparked and their learning can be furthered.
We are committed to providing a reliable, friendly, and flexible service, with clear communication and a strong partnership with parents. Our aim is to give you peace of mind, knowing your child is cared for in a trustworthy, supportive, and enriched environment.
My Experience
Jodie brings a wealth of experience across early years and school settings. Qualified early years teacher, she has worked 1:1 with children presenting challenging behaviour, providing calm, consistent and supportive strategies tailored to individual needs. Jodie has extensive experience carrying out speech and language interventions, alongside play therapy placements that have strengthened her understanding of children’s emotional wellbeing. She has also held leadership roles, including Planning Lead within a nursery setting, Learning Support Mentor in a school, and Preschool Team Leader, ensuring high-quality practice, inclusive support and child-centred planning throughout her work.
Dani brings a rich and diverse background to our setting. Born in the UK and having lived in Italy, she speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish. Dani has strong experience supporting children with English as an Additional Language (EAL), using her multilingual skills to help children feel understood, included and confident in their communication. She has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) both within nursery settings and through personal experience in home life, giving her a compassionate, practical and inclusive approach. Dani has worked as a Toddler Room Team Leader in a nursery setting and has taught English to primary school children in Italy. She also holds qualifications in the history of education, supporting a strong understanding of child development and inclusive educational practice.
My Qualifications

My Availability
We will be open all year round (including holiday club), Monday to Thursday 7:30-18:30, providing care for children aged 6 months to 12 years. Our setting is designed to feel like a home away from home, where every child is valued as an individual and supported at their own pace.
We will be offering before and after school care, including pick-up and drop-off for High Ercall Primary School! We will be accepting funded childcare, helping to make quality care more accessible for families.
